Khaman Maluach impressed in his first game for the Phoenix Suns this summer, scoring 19 points against the Trail Blazers, knocking down three 3-pointers. However, after committing seven turnovers, Maluach looked to improve his efficiency ahead of Phoenix' second game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Although Phoenix fell 81-75, Maluach showed polish in all areas. The former No. 10 overall pick registered a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds on 5-for-9 shooting, including 2-for-3 from 3-point range. He also added one assist, one steal and two blocks, committing zero turnovers.

If the South Sudan native can continue to produce at this level during his sophomore campaign, he and fellow Duke alum Mark Williams will make quite a one-two punch in the Suns' frontcourt.
