Former FSU infielder Noah Sheffield is headed to the Big Ten. The former Seminole has transferred to the Michigan Wolverines, announcing the news on Instagram Friday.

He appeared in 37 games with 26 starts in 2026, logging time at designated hitter, right field, second base, and left field. He ended the year hitting .250 with four home runs, nine doubles, 29 RBI, and 26 runs scored. He spent two seasons with the Seminoles and will have three seasons of eligibility at Michigan. He is the son of MLB legend Gary Sheffield.

The righty had a .438 slugging percentage and a .331 on-base percentage. He drew 11 walks and struckout 32 times. He played in just eight games as a true freshman, going 2-8 with two RBI.

He was not the only former Seminole to commit to a Big Ten program on Friday. Kelvyn Paulino Jr. announced that he will be joining the Indiana Hoosiers. FSU played Michigan this year in Arlington, Texas, winning 6-1. Sheffield was 1-2 with an RBI and a walk.
