Former GM Says Angels Made ‘Worst Trade’ of 2026 Deadline
The Los Angeles Angels had a busy deadline, acquiring heaps of prospects in exchange for controllable talent, but they didn't impress everybody.
The Angels' first trade of the deadline period came a few days before Monday's cutoff, when they sent Logan O'Hoppe and Chase Silseth to the Texas Rangers in exchange for minor-league infielder Angel Arredondo, and former Cincinnati Reds general manager Jim Bowden named it the worst trade of the deadline.
