Former Panthers WR headed to Patriots

As announced on Saturday, the New England Patriots have claimed wide receiver Kobe Prentice off waivers from the Carolina Panthers. Prentice spent the spring with Carolina, who signed the undrafted 22-year-old rookie in early May.

Prentice was previously a teammate of Panthers starting quarterback Bryce Young at the University of Alabama back in 2022, where he recorded 31 receptions for 337 yards and two touchdowns. He totaled 25 catches for 406 yards and three scores over his final two seasons for the Crimson Tide.
