Former Red Sox, Yankees Farmhand Throws Perfect Game

On Monday night, 32-year-old pitcher Thomas Pannone threw a perfect game for the Milwaukee Brewers' Triple-A affiliate, the Nashville Sounds.

It was the perfect game by a single pitcher in the minor leagues since 2017, when Tyler Mahle and Domenic Mazza each threw a perfect game within three days of each other. Pannone was drafted by Cleveland in the ninth round of the 2013 MLB Draft, but has spent time in the Toronto Blue Jays, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Angels and Brewers organizations as well.
