Former UNC baseball slugger gets long-awaited MLB call-up

With one week left in September, baseball season is quickly coming to a close. Several MLB teams already have their postseason spots locked down, while several others, such as Michael Busch's Chicago Cubs, fight to reach professional baseball's greatest tournament.

Particularly for teams already eliminated from postseason contention, September is a great time to call up top organizational prospects and test their MLB readiness. One AL Central team, which is now 11 games below .500, gave a former UNC baseball star his first show at The Show.
