Another day in the NBA Summer League, another double-double for former Washington Huskies star forward Hannes Steinbach.

In his final day of action in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the Charlotte Hornets, the No. 14 overall pick in June's draft continued to do what he does best: pull down rebounds and play efficient offense. In a 92-90 loss to the Sacramento Kings, Steinbach earned his second start of the Summer League and posted 22 points and 11 rebounds, a stat line Husky fans became accustomed to during his one year on Montlake.

The 6-foot-11 German's 22 double-doubles tied him for the nation's lead last season, and in five games in Las Vegas, he tallied three, with his most notable being a 27-point, 15-rebound outburst against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Steinbach also left a few points on the table, as he went 3-for-6 from the free throw line in the loss, as the NBA experiments with an "all-or-nothing" rule where if a player is fouled in the act of shooting, they only get one shot, which is worth the same number of points as the shot they were taking.

Throughout the Summer League, Steinbach has impressed with his advanced skill set on offense and ability as a rebounder, which should help him make his way into the rotation right away during his rookie season.

"He has superb hands and catches everything in his area without bobbling, he can keep the offense in rhythm with passes or with clean and quick finishes. He also stood out as a rebounder even against bigger competition," The Athletic's Sam Vecenie wrote. "Steinbach played well enough to have Hornets fans excited about their draft."

Former Washington guard Terrell Brown also participated in Charlotte's Summer League finale. He added 4 points and 3 assists while going 1-for-4 from the field in 11 minutes of action.
