Game 3 ticket release leads to frustration for Knicks fans
Tickets for Game 3 on Monday of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden were released for sale on Sunday. Despite each costing upward of $2,000 there was a buying frenzy.
The amount of tickets sold were 550. This has taken buying to a new level for any type of event, sports, concert you name it. And it is only going to see prices rise if the Knicks are able to win and grab a 3-0 lead.
Thanks to the Ticketmaster.com site, people were able to painfully watch their place in the waiting room. If you were listed as deeper than 500, you were out of luck. As you can see by these posts, there were many more out of luck than those who scored those pricey tickets.
Now the only question is whether they ended up in the hands of fans or people looking to make a huge score on the secondary market.
