The Spiders will send Gavin Williams to the mound. He owns a 9-4 record and 3.89 ERA/3.83 FIP; he’s also a strikeout machine, pumping 10.4 Ks per nine innings and a 3.42 K/BB ratio so far in his 2026 campaign. He relies on his slider (87 mph) and four-seam fastball (96-97 mph) first and his curveball (82 mph) and sinker (96 mph) second. He’ll mix in a low-90s cutter as well.

Bailey Ober has been activated off the injured list and will answer the call for the Twins. His two rehabilitation outings included a game with the Cedar Rapids Kernels, going 3.1 innings and allowing three earned runs on seven hits and a strikeout. His other game included turning in a five-inning outing with six hits, four earned runs, and five strikeouts on 76 pitches. Before hitting the IL, he had a rough go of it for the most part, posting a 4.59 ERA/4.98 FIP, issuing more walks and striking out less batters than normal. Hopefully he’s back healthy and refreshed.
