Gary Cohen lambasted the Mets’ outfielders during their 2-1 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday.

After George Springer hit a fly ball to left field in the bottom of the first inning, Juan Soto got too close to the ball and it got past him and went to the wall. AJ Ewing then misplayed the ball at the wall, and Springer went all the way around the bases to score.

The play was scored a triple for Springer, with an error allowing him to score.

“A comedy of errors in the Mets’ outfield!” Cohen said on the SNY broadcast. “Soto got too close to it and it bounced by him and when Ewing game over to try to pick it up, he fumbled it and went all the way around to score.

The Mets committed six errors during the 2015 World Series against the Kansas City Royals.
