Georgia Bulldog named Lions' most promising player

Former Georgia Bulldogs offensive guard Tate Ratledge has been named as the Detroit Lions' most promising player for the 2026 NFL season. Ratledge is one of three Georgia players to make Bleacher Report's list of the most promising building blocks for every NFL team in 2026.

Ratledge along with Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Amarius Mims and Atlanta Falcons linebacker Jalon Walker made the list. All three are promising young players and have room for improvement. All three are entering their second season in the NFL.
