Georgia RB, NFL free agent works out for the Dolphins
Former Georgia Bulldogs running back Zamir White recently held a workout with the Miami Dolphins, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. White spent the first four seasons of his NFL career in the Las Vegas Raiders’ backfield, but the running back appears to be headed elsewhere prior to the 2026 campaign.
White was a star at Georgia across three seasons from 2018-2021. The former Bulldog played a vital role during Georgia’s 2021 national championship run, as White compiled an impressive 856 yards and 11 touchdowns across his fourth and final season in Athens. White flashed his potential on numerous occasions throughout the first three years of his NFL career, but an underwhelming 2025 season led to White’s time in Las Vegas ending.

The former Georgia star recorded just 32 yards last season across six games, as White was consistently listed as a healthy scratch throughout 2025. White may be an excellent backup option behind Dolphins star running back De’Von Achane in Miami should he ultimately decide to sign with the Dolphins, but the former Georgia running back will need to bounce back in 2026 nonetheless.
White will always be remembered in Athens for his efforts in the Dawgs’ backfield throughout the 2021 national championship season. The running back remains an NFL free agent and will more than likely land with a new team in the near future, and White could be a good change of pace back for Achane if he signs with Miami.
