Giants are already facing a Malik Nabers scare

Malik Nabers came back into Monday's game after hurting his shoulder. That made it tempting to file the whole thing away. The Giants cannot do that yet. Their Wednesday injury report listed him as limited, with the participation level projected because the team held a walkthrough.

I would take a limited designation over an absence every time, but it is not clearance for Sunday. Nabers finished the 28-6 loss to the Rams with one catch for one yard on four targets. He was injured while trying to make a sideline catch near the end of the first quarter, returned in the second, and still looked like a player the offense could not properly get involved.
