Guardians Minor League Recap: Huff Hits Twentieth

Columbus lost to Louisville yesterday, but Kody Huff hit his 20th homer of the season while playing third base. Cooper Ingle had two hits playing catcher, and Kahlil Watson had two hits and a walk. Ben Lively looked solid in four and two-thirds, surrendering one run on four hits and two walks, striking out four, but Connor Brogdon was, again awful in the ninth. Steven Perez had two and a third scoreless innings, though, striking out four, showing that all hope for him as a left-handed reliever may not yet be lost.
