HSV decide to part ways with Dompé

HSV directors Claus Costa and Kathleen Krüger confirmed that the club decided to part ways with Jean-Luc Dompé. The 30-year-old Frenchman still has a one-year contract left at the Bundesliga side.

"Jean-Luc (Dompé) and HSV owe a lot to each other in view of the past few years," Costa noted in a candid interview. "However, his sporting situation has already changed significantly over the course of the second half of last season.
