LEBANON – It's race day at Nashville Superspeedway.
This marks the third straight year the race has been held at Nashville Superspeedway. The event was held on the streets of Nashville from 2021-2023, but moved to the superspeedway with the construction conflict because of the new Nissan Stadium.
Colton Herta won the race at Nashville Superspeedway in 2024.

The IndyCar race at Nashville Superspeedway will be postponed until 2 p.m. CT Monday after heavy rain hit the track around 7:45 p.m. It came after track workers had the track surface near dry enough to race on after a previous rain.
The race will still be on FOX.

Welp, so much for the IndyCar Nashville race getting ready to start. With the track almost dry, heavy rain hit Nashville Superspeedway, soaking the track.
There has been no decision yet on if the race will be held tonight or delayed until July 20.

Welp, the rain has started at Nashville Superspeedway.
The IndyCar Nashville race has not started. First it was delayed because of the World Cup final. Then lightning was in the area. Now, rain is coming down. Oh, and IndyCar does not use rain tires for oval races.

The national weather forecast has indicated that severe weather is imminent at Nashville Superspeedway. Spectators are being asked to leave the grandstands and grid area to find shelter.

With the World Cup now in extra time, IndyCar has adjusted the race schedule for the Music City Grand Prix.
The green flag is now scheduled for 5:20 p.m. CT, five minutes after the call for drivers to start their engines.
