Iowa State football set for homecoming clash with West Virginia

AMES – It's only been four years, but plenty has changed since West Virginia made its way to Jack Trice Stadium for a football game in 2022. Both teams have new coaches at the helm and the Big 12 now has 16 schools after plenty of conference reshuffling.

That year, the Cyclones pulled away for a 31-14 win. It was also the last time Iowa State won a homecoming game. Iowa State (2-2, 0-1 Big 12) will be hopeful for a similar winning result to break the drought when it hosts the Mountaineers (3-1, 0-1) on Saturday, Oct. 3. Action is set to kick off at 11 a.m. CT (TNT).
