Iowa wrestling earns commitment from three-time Arizona state champion

Iowa men's wrestling has picked up a commitment from Arizona's Xavier Chavez for the 2027 recruiting class.

Chavez is a three-time Arizona state champion, wrestling most recently for Sunnyside High School. Among the high-profile alumni from the high school are NCAA champions Sergio Vega (Oklahoma State) and Roman Bravo-Young (Penn State), among many others in recent years.
