Earlier on Thursday, medics reported nine deaths following Israeli attacks on residential buildings in Gaza City overnight.
According to the reports, those killed include the four men identified by Israel as Hamas members, as well as four relatives of one of them.
The Israeli military and domestic intelligence service Shin Bet said the four men belonged to Hamas' general security apparatus, which is responsible for protecting senior figures and coordinating meetings.

Hamas did not immediately confirm that those killed were members of the group.
