JOPLIN, MO — The Joplin Jailbirds are back in the win column after a dominating 16-6 Game 3 victory on their home field versus the North Missouri Naturals.

After dropping Game 2 on Saturday, the Jailbirds came out swinging in the opening innings of Game 3.

Landin Midgett sent home the first run of the ball game, followed by an RBI triple from Jaison DeLamar off an over throw to first base.

Joplin was able to extend its lead 5-0 after the first two frames, which resulted in a 16-6 dominating finish in seven innings.

The Jailbirds advanced to 6-2 overall on its season and will return to action Wednesday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m. to host the Carroll Merchants.
