Jayhawks soar over Sharks, defeat LIU 51-6

LAWRENCE (KSNT) — Kansas football is back in dominant fashion.

The Kansas Jayhawks defeated the LIU Sharks, 51-6 in the season opener Friday night.

The game started slow for KU, grabbing their first touchdown of the night, courtesy of Yasin Willis, at the six-minute mark. That would be the only scoring in the first quarter.
