The NBA world is still buzzing around the Philadelphia 76ers after they pulled off a stunning trade to acquire Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics. The Sixers sent Paul George, two first-round picks, and two second-round picks to the Celtics to acquire a player who was just named to the All-NBA Second Team.

Brown is expected to join Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, and Joel Embiid as the pillars of this team's championship hopes and look to help the Sixers over the hump. Philadelphia is a franchise that hasn't won a title since 1983 and is looking to end its lengthy title drought with Brown now in the fold.

Following the deal, Brown took to social media to give a statement on the trade to the Sixers.

The Eastern Conference is certainly loaded. This move made by the Sixers is just one of many throughout the conference in an effort to help Philadelphia leapfrog into the contender conversation, but Brown is going to give the Sixers a phenomenal chance to get the job done.
