Jesse Love must gain ground at Las Vegas in Chase

Jesse Love arrives at Las Vegas fourth in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series Chase with 2,194 points, sitting 41 points behind Sheldon Creed. The defending series champion remains within reach of the lead but lost valuable ground during a turbulent Bristol finish.

Love led 80 laps at Bristol and battled Justin Allgaier for the victory before their race changed during a Lap 286 restart. Love drove deep into Turn 1 while fighting for the lead and forced Allgaier into the outside wall. Love later became involved in additional contact and finished 17th, one week after winning the Chase race at Gateway.
