Described as America's saddest murder trial, the Lindsay Clancy case has been a global phenomenon. Over three and a half years ago, in January 2023, 36-year-old Clancy was home with her three young children. Allegedly, she asked her husband to go and pick up some food for the family and medication for their eldest child. During the short window while her husband was away from home, she is said to have strangled each of her kids with an exercise band before attempting to take her own life. Upon returning home, the husband found his wife paralyzed from the waist down during her suicide attempt, and the three children fatally injured.
