JUCO infielder commits to FSU baseball
The FSU baseball program is bringing Tyler Correa home. The Tallahassee native has committed to the Seminoles, announcing the news Thursday on social media.
"Beyond Blessed to announce my commitment to Florida State University 🍢," he wrote. "Would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity, as well my family, coaches, and teammates for helping me along the way"

He played in 53 games last season, hitting .372 with five home runs, eight doubles, and 51 RBI. He walked 33 times and struck out 17, posting a .473 on-base percentage and a .541 slugging percentage. He added four triples and seven stolen bases, getting caught stealing twice.
Correa played at Chiles High School in Tallahassee and was a member of the 2025 recruiting class before going the junior college route. While he is draft eligible, he will have three seasons of eligibility with the Seminoles.
He is FSU's 13th commitment in the 2027 recruiting cycle and the first JUCO player. Five-star shortstop/pitcher Chase Fuller headlines the class. The two-way star is also from Tallahassee, but attends Lincoln High School.
