Kamenev suspended two years amid doping scandal

According to a report from KHL insider Jeremy Garrett, CSKA Moscow forward Vladislav Kamenev, formerly of the Colorado Avalanche, has been suspended for two years for using performance enhancing drugs.

Garrett reports that meldonium was discovered in his sample back in March, 2025. His suspension is believed to carry him through the 2026-27 season and explains why he was not available to play for CSKA this past season.
