WICHITA, KAN. (KSNW) — The Kansas high school track season ended in the overnight hours after multiple weather delays at the state meet Saturday.

Andale swept both the boys and girls team titles in Class 4A. Bishop Carroll won the 5A girls championship, and Hesston claimed the girls 3A crown.

Here are the rest of the team winners:

  • 6A: Olathe North (boys and girls)

  • 5A boys: St. James Academy

  • 2A: Smith Center (boys) and Hoxie (girls)

  • 1A: Axtell (boys) and Clifton-Clyde (girls)

Kansas state baseball, softball finals scores

Numerous local athletes accomplished first-place finishes. Hesston’s Ashley Lehman claimed the titles in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes. She also won the pole vault with a record 12 feet, 8.25 inches.

Wellington’s Dru Zeka notched four crowns: 400-meter dash, 100-meter hurdles, high jump and long jump.

Ava Claasen from Kapaun won both the 1,600- and 3,200-meter races.
