Key NFL regular season and offseason dates revealed
ESPN's Adam Schefter revealed a list of key NFL dates to keep an eye on during the 2026 season and throughout the 2027 offseason on Tuesday.
Those dates include the final roster cutdown deadline, the trade deadline, Super Bowl LXI, free agency and the 2027 NFL Draft. The draft has already been confirmed to be heading back to the nation's capital in Washington, D.C. for the first time since 1941.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementLast season, the New England Patriots went on a deep run all the way to Super Bowl LX. They'll be looking to get back to the big game this year with a significantly harder schedule than the one they had last year.
The team has been busy this offseason improving their roster on both offense and defense. So they should be up for the challenge.
August 30 - Roster cut deadline (53 players)
November 10 - Trade deadline
February 14 - Super Bowl LXI (SoFi Stadium)
March (1-8) - NFL Scouting Combine (Indianapolis)
March 9 - Free Agency
March (21-24) - Owners meetings (Phoenix)
(April 29-May 1) - 2027 NFL Draft (Washington, D.C.)
