Kyle Pitts delivers a bagel in season opener
Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts was targeted just once and had no receptions in a Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Why It Matters: Pitts, considered a top-five fantasy tight end by some analysts, went without a catch for the first time since September 29, 2024, against the Saints. He also matched his lowest target total, which came on November 3, 2024 against the Cowboys. Pitts has flashed TE1 potential during his career, but he has not been able to consistently put up numbers - which likely has been a function of Atlanta's struggles to get him a quality quarterback. This is just one game, but managers may be back to considering Pitts more of a TE2 than TE1 in fantasy.
