The first session opened with the Lord’s Prayer, followed by a speech by LNC President Dr. Waddah al-Khoury, who emphasized the importance of investing in capacity building. He described the development of communication skills as a fundamental step toward strengthening social cohesion. He also thanked the trainer and participants and affirmed the council’s commitment to organizing training programs that respond to the needs of the community.
Keshar expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to conduct the training in Daramsuq, noting the participants’ enthusiasm and interest in developing their personal and professional skills. The opening session began with an introductory activity in which participants shared information about their work and achievements before moving on to the training topics.
The program, which runs over three days with three-hour sessions each day, covers a range of topics, including managing multitasking and its benefits and drawbacks, modern techniques in body language and public speaking, and methods for controlling reactions and transforming them into thoughtful responses in professional and everyday communication.
