Liverpool midfielder joins Man United, he's gone

Liverpool and Manchester United were linked with a lot of the same players in the summer transfer window.

Both teams could've done a lot better than they did last season and, while the Red Devils managed to finish higher than Liverpool in the Premier League, the fact that they only had England's top flight to focus on will have certainly helped them out.
