London park turns into parched wasteland

London’s Blackheath is suffering from the impacts of a drought that is hitting half of England. Multiple heatwaves have contributed to drought conditions affecting the whole of Wales and around half of England. The UK received just 35% of average July rainfall, making it the driest July nationally since 1868. #UK #drought #london #climatechange #heatwave
