Longhorns star LT Trevor Goosby earns unique honor

Over the last few days, Longhorns veteran Trevor Goosby has been adding to his trophy case. After his stellar performance against Ohio State, the Longhorns offensive tackle was named the Outland Trophy's National Player of the Week and the SEC's Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week. On Wednesday, the weekly awards continued to roll in as the Texas native added the 2026 Capital One Orange Bowl-FWAA Courage Award to his resume.

While Goosby has become an important piece to the Longhorns success, his rise to stardom has been anything but easy. The talented senior has overcome open-heart surgery as a teenager, along with multiple other injuries. Those roadblocks haven't stopped him from becoming a potential NFL Draft pick while chasing a national title with one of the nation's most historic programs.
