Tarik Biberovic is a name that Dallas Mavericks fans will want to familiarize themselves with.

He could soon be knocking down a bunch of 3-pointers for the Mavs.

Biberovic's rights were acquired during a trade on draft night, and Dallas could bring him to the NBA soon.

He currently is a member of Fenerbahce in Turkey, but according to insider Marc Stein, the opt-out date in his contract is July 7 -- as in, Tuesday, the day this article is being published.

It's never a guarantee that international production translates well to the NBA, but normally the guys that play at a high level for top European clubs at least turn into NBA contributors.

The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor had this to say on X about Biberovic:

"Intriguing addition for the Mavericks. Biberović is one of the best 3-point shooters in the world. Shot 45% on nearly 1K 3s over the past 3 seasons combined."

It's hard to look past "one of the best 3-point shooters in the world." If that proves to be true, the Mavs will be overjoyed.

The modern NBA needs great shooters, and Biberovic appears to have the potential to be one.
