Max Scherzer makes rehab start against RailRiders

BUFFALO, NY (WBRE/WYOU) — Three time Cy Young Award Winner Max Scherzer made his second rehab start on Wednesday night, for the Toronto Blue Jays Triple-A affiliate. Scherzer pitched four innings for the Buffalo Bison, against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.

Scherzer allowed four earned runs in his start. The RailRiders scored five times off of the future hall of famer on six hits, including a home run. The two time World Series champion struck out five batters in the rehab efforts.
