Michigan State baseball lands commitment from massive 2027 RHP

Michigan State baseball has landed the first commitment of the 2027 recruiting cycle, and they have gotten it from a Midwest product. Riley Verderber has made the decision to make the commitment to the Spartans.

A 6-foot-6, 240 pounder, Verderber is a massive right handed pitcher from Lakewood, Ohio. According to Prep Baseball, Verderber sports a low 90s fastball that will top out at 93 miles per hour. He also has a changeup, curveball and slider, all with above average spin rates to compliment the fastball.
