MLB trade deadline: Giants trade 2B Luis Arraez to Phillies

Luis Arraez has found a new home, with the San Francisco Giants trading the infielder to the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan. Right-hander Caleb Kilian is also part of the deal. The Giants' return includes the Phillies' No. 4 prospect per MLB Pipeline, RHP Ramon Marquez, and RHP Marty Gair, according to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.

Arraez signed a one-year, $12 million deal with San Francisco in January after a surprisingly weak free agency this past offseason. This year, Arraez has done well with the Giants, and his production has ticked back up, making him one of the likely players to get dealt ahead of the deadline.
