Here’s some more video from summer ball. If you’re like us, what you’re going to do is to hit the space bar as often as you can to see deets, and we do see some.

For one, it looks like the rumors about Dame Sarr’s physical transformation are true. He appears to be much stronger than he was last year, which is going to be great.

For another, JoJo Boumtje Boumtje looks pretty smooth on most of this, and you can get a sense of his game as he goes up against some pretty solid athletes. You also get a sense of how Caleb Foster has grown into a leadership role. He has the potential to become one of the better Duke captains in recent years.

But the coolest/funniest thing to watch for?

Apparently, Drew Scharnowski is a human wrecking ball. If you watch carefully, you’ll see Foster and Boumtje Boumtje’s faces prepare for pain as they go up against Scharnowski. We don’t know for sure, but our guess is that he didn’t come across anyone that powerful in Istanbul during FIBA play.

As for Foster, while he prepped for imminent pain, we’ll give him credit. His face is hilarious when he thinks he’s about to get creamed, but immediately after that, he gets his hand in and tries to take the ball away.

Watching Scharnowski push people around is going to be one of the truly fun things to keep an eye on this season.
