Nebraska picks up commitment from Georgia linebacker Eli Harris
Class of 2027 three-star linebacker Eli Harris committed to the Huskers on Sunday afternoon. The prospect is ranked 139th in the state of Georgia, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
Harris had a pretty impressive offer sheet that included offers from Pittsburgh, Michigan, Auburn, and Ole Miss. However, the Huskers won out in the end.

Harris’s commitment marks the first of the day, in a class that has 15 commitments overall. The class itself ranks 19th in the country according to the Rivals Team Rankings.
This is a solid pickup for a program that continues to add depth and talent at the linebacker position. The position is veteran-laden at the moment, but it will need talent for the future. In any event, the program is red-hot on the recruiting trail, and there may be more news to come.
