Nevada tackles Carl Junction in road victory

CARL JUNCTION, MO - It was by no means a blowout, but the Nevada Lady Tigers closed out sets when they needed to, sweeping the Carl Junction Lady Bulldogs on their home floor.

No set was decided by more than two points, including a 29-27 tug-of-war in the opening frame. However, despite repeated attempts from the Lady Bulldogs to pull themselves back into contention, a key block or a powerful kill kept Nevada in control of the court all night long.
