NFL fines, suspends 49ers owner for arrest

The NFL finally handed down its ruling on San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York following his arrest in Ohio over the summer.

York was suspended for six regular-season games and fined $500,000 for violating the NFL's Personal Conduct Policy, the NFL announced today per multiple reports. According to The Ringer's Tom Pelissero, York can return to the team on Tuesday, Oct. 20, as the NFL deemed the three games York's already been away from the team as time served toward the six-game suspension.
