Nigeria rescues 39 schoolchildren abducted in Oyo

Nigerian security forces rescued 39 schoolchildren and six teachers, the governor originally reported this to be five teachers, who were kidnapped nearly two months ago in southwestern Oyo state. The students and teachers were abducted on May 15 when armed men targeted multiple schools in Oyo's Oriire district. One teacher was killed while in captivity. #nigeria #kidnapping #oyo
