Notre Dame baseball lands big transfer portal commitment
As it did last offseason, Notre Dame baseball lost its best player, last year catcher Carson Tinney and this season outfielder Bino Watters.
However, the Irish did a great job in finding catcher Mark Quantrani from the portal and may have done it again with the Saturday commitment of outfielder Connor Misch as reported by Matt Freeman. The former Xavier star batted .338 and drove in 50 runs this past season, getting on-base nearly half his at-bats at .489 and hit four home runs. The Indiana native has gotten better every season for the Musketeers, and the hope is the same as he returns to his home state.
