EAST RUTHERFORD - The New York Giants have pared their roster down to 53 players, making several tough cuts in the process as part of the NFL's mandated leaguewide cutdown deadline.

More than 1,000 players have hit the market, with hundreds currently subject to the NFL's waiver wire – including 18 from Big Blue – with teams submitting claims for potential additions to their squad.
