FC Bayern and Konrad Laimer have agreed to extend the Austria international’s contract until 30 June 2029. The 29-year-old defender has been playing for the Munich side since the 2023/24 season, during which time he’s won the Bundesliga twice, as well as the DFB Cup and German Supercup once each.

He’s a role model because he never gives up on a ball, is constantly developing and is also a key figure in the dressing room.”

I’ve felt that here from day one. I can help the team in many positions and want to continue giving my all for FC Bayern every single second.
