Old soccer jerseys find an eco-friendly second life

With the World Cup in full swing, a small factory in North Macedonia is giving discarded soccer jerseys a second life as bags, hats and accessories. The company, Depacon, upcycles sports apparel collected by Dutch partner FC88 from soccer clubs and national teams after sponsorship or kit deals change, when unused stock is often destined for destruction. #football #soccer #worldcup #environment #jersey
