We are exactly 90 days away from Penn State kicking off the 2026 football season against Marshall, and once again, we’re sticking with the D-line and Liam Andrews. A former four-star recruit out of Massachusetts in the 2024 recruiting class, Andrews redshirted his true freshman season and appeared in four games last season, being twice named the Developmental Squad Defensive Player of the Week. The 6’4” 290-pound defensive tackle originally started his high school career as an offensive lineman before switching his focus to the defensive side of the ball his junior year.

Time will tell whether Liam sees his playing time increase in his third season in Happy Valley, but with plenty of turnover on the defensive line and a new coaching staff, the opportunity to make himself a part of the rotation at D-tackle is there.
