Pacers bring back James Johnson Jr. on training camp contract

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Pacers are bringing back an old friend and veteran voice, at least for training camp, and he could join the roster later this season.

The Pacers are signing 39-year-old forward James Johnson Jr. to an Exhibit 9 training camp contract, a league source confirmed to the IndyStar on Tuesday. Jake Fischer of the Stein Line originally reported the news.
