Pair of Former Bruins Tied for AUSL Home Run Lead

UCLA softball set the NCAA Division I record for most home runs in a single season with 209 in 2026. Three-time NFCA All-American Megan Grant hit 42 of those home runs, which also broke the individual NCAA record for single-season home runs.

Now, Grant is a rookie on the Portland Cascade in the Athlete's Unlimited Softball League and is continuing to hit bombs at the professional level. On Sunday, she hit her eighth home run in 20 games to claim the top spot on the AUSL home run leaderboard.
