Panthers bring back fan favorite in signing on Friday

The Carolina Panthers have just brought back a beloved hog molly.

As announced on Friday morning, the team has re-signed offensive lineman Brady Christensen. Christensen had remained a free agent into the summer as he recovered from a torn Achilles tendon from the 2025 campaign.

That setback came in Carolina's Week 8 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The tear ended Christensen's fifth season, as he was placed on injured reserve the following day.

The 29-year-old, however, reportedly stayed in touch with the team throughout his recovery—leading up to his return for a sixth season in Carolina.

Christensen, a consensus All-American out of Brigham Young University, was selected by the Panthers in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He's gone on to record snaps at every position along the offensive line, with his most recent work coming at right guard.
